Licensing Conditions

Tourist Camp

Tourist Camp: Any camp created by a tourist company in deserts, mountains, coastal areas or in valleys, that serves food, beverages and provides any entertainment, artistic, or sport activities to its customers against a certain amount of charges provided that the establishment is licensed by the authority to practice the activity. The camp may provide accommodation as per the terms of the license granted in this respect.

Conditions required for the initial approval for a tourist camp:

An initial approval form shall be completed in print.( the form can be obtained from ADTA offices in Abu Dhabi and AlAin).
A valid passport copy and civil register summary of UAE nationals shall be submitted.
A partnership contract shall be provided if there was a partner
A detailed feasibility study for the project includes all details, proposed areas, sewage and water recycling systems, shall be enclosed.
An electronic copy (CD) plus the paper copy of the drawings of the project, facilities and proposed areas shall be enclosed.
A detailed description of the services and components to be used in constructing the camp including fences, barriers and activities thereof shall be attached.
