Requirements of Obtaining a Tourism License for Hotel Establishments (Hotels, Hotel Apartments and Resorts):
- A "Tourism License Certificate" form shall be completed in print (the form may be obtained from the Authority offices in Abu Dhabi and AlAin)
- A copy of the owner's passports and national identity card. However, if the owner is an entity, (a company or establishment), the trade license shall be enclosed therewith.
- Attach to the Company (in the case of companies) certified by the notary and shall be published in the Department of Economics.
- A copy of the initial approval of the authority shall be attached.
- A copy of the certificate of the completion of the building issued by Abu Dhabi Municipality shall be submitted.
- A certificate of allocating a trade name for the organization, to be issued by the Department of Economic Development, shall be enclosed.
- A certificate on the standards of safety and security to be issued by the Department of Civil Defense shall be submitted.
- Food Control" certificate to be issued by Abu Dhabi Foodstuff Control Authority shall be enclosed.
- 8-A letter of approval from a company certifying that they are ready to manage the hotel establishment shall be submitted therewith.
- Copies of the Director General CV, passport and experience in hotel management certificates shall be presented.
- The authorized signatory approval shall be submitted.
- No Objection Letter from Waste Management Center.
- A letter of pledge from the owner undertaking not to start business on receiving the license unless they address the authority to obtain approval there from, shall be submitted.
You must apply to obtain other licenses for the facilities (restaurants, coffee, shops,….) available in the property
