Travel offices: Establishments or companies that provide travel tickets sales and hotel reservations within and without the borders of the emirate.
Conditions required to license the activity of ticket selling:

A tourism license application form shall be completed in print (forms may be obtained from ADTA offices in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain)A copy of the owner's passports and national identity card.

If there is a foreign partner, a copy of his passport and articles of association of the company, attested by the Notary Public, shall be submitted.( the UAE national percentage in the activity shall be no less than 51%)

A copy of the lease contract of a reception and management office, of an area of no less than 35 sq.m (for the showroom), or 50 sq.m (for the office), shall be submitted. The contract period shall be no less than three months provided that no other licenses are practiced in the same location.

CVs of a proper number of qualified administrators and employees including the office manager shall be provided as per ADTA requirements*.

A trade name shall be allocated to the establishment by the Department of Economic Development

External signboard shall be designed by an approved sign calligrapher 50% in Arabic and 50% in English.

A bank guarantee of AED 100.000 shall be deposited within 30 days of granting the license (bank guarantee shall be as per the approved form available in the authority).

The person concerned shall pledge to observe the conditions and their compliance with ADTA requirements.

No Objection Letter from Waste Management Center.

Licensing fees of a travel ticket sales office shall be AED 5000
*Conditions to be provided in General Manager :
- Two years experience for the manager winning university degree majoring in tourism.
- 4 years experience for the manager winning university degree in another discipline.
- 3 years experience for the manager who holds a higher diploma in the specialty of a tourist.
- 5 years experience for the manager who holds a higher diploma in another discipline.
- 4 years experience for the manager who holds a diploma majoring in tourism.
- 6 years experience for the manager who holds a diploma in another discipline.
- 8 years experience for the manager who holds a high school.
Obligations of the Owner of the Office:

The name of the office shall be shown in both Arabic and English by hanging a signboard on the entrance of the office.

The office shall be kept clean and tidy and employees shall be dressed appropriately and act in professional manner at all times.

Working hours and holidays, if any, shall be set provided that these shall be put in a visible place in the office.

The license shall be hanged in a visible place in the head office and the branch.

Circulars and instructions of ADTA shall be observed and implemented.
