The tourism industry represents significant new career opportunities for aspiring Emiratis to join a young and expanding sector. ADTA is looking to increase the percentage of Emiratis working in the tourism industry to 5% by 2012 – up from its current level of 1%. The authority firmly believes Emiratis have a key role to play particularly in the delivery of authentic and memorable visitor experiences.
ADTA operates a highly pro-active Emiratization section which has developed a range of initiatives aimed at introducing nationals to the tourism industry, its key role in society and in economic diversification and the extensive career opportunities the sector holds out.
